About vibcod
A curated directory of software written with AI, curated by humans.
The pitch is one sentence: an antidote to upvote-driven directories where every launch looks the same and the model that generated the screenshot is more interesting than the product. vibcod is for the projects that are weird, small, fast, opinionated, or just genuinely useful — shipped with an LLM riding shotgun and willing to admit it.
Who runs it
One person. Hi — I'm Sebastjan. I read every submission. I write every rejection note (rare, but they happen). Email me at admin@vibcod.dev or fill in the contact form. There is no team page because there is no team.
What "vibe-coded" means here
A project earns the label if a meaningful part of its code, design, or product decisions was shaped in conversation with an AI assistant — Claude, GPT, Cursor, Aider, Cline, Copilot, Bolt, v0, Lovable, you name it. It does not mean the project was generated end to end without human judgment. We're cataloguing collaborations, not slop.
The four-sided engine
- Projects — what got shipped
- Tips — what builders learned doing it
- Stack trends — what tools they reached for
- Builders — the people behind the receipts
Each axis reinforces the others. The tips wall is the smartest thing on the site — short, hard-earned lessons you won't find on Product Hunt because Product Hunt isn't asking.
What you won't find here
- Upvotes, hot/new sorts driven by mob behaviour, comment karma
- Sparkle emojis, robot-hand stock photos, purple gradients
- Sponsored "best of" listicles dressed up as editorial
- An algorithm. The order is human-set or recency-set, period.
- Your data sold to anyone. We don't even use cookies for tracking.
Money
Free to submit, free to read, free to embed. The site costs about $2 a month to run on shared hosting in Europe. There's no investor, no burn rate, no funnel. If sponsors ever appear they'll be one slot, marked clearly, no sneaky native ads.
Tech
Next.js 15 · TypeScript · Prisma + SQLite · Tailwind · NextAuth · Recharts · ImapFlow · nodemailer · hosted on a Hetzner shared box · built mostly with Claude Code (yes, eating our own dog food).
The rules
Curation guidelines spell out what gets in and what doesn't. The short version: real projects from real people, with at least one specific thing the builder learned doing it.
